We contacted Ryan of S&R Family construction in the fall when we had become concerned with our 65yr old front porch that had begun to pull away from the house. Due to unforeseen circumstances we advised Ryan we were not able to get this done until the late spring. Ryan was one of three quotes we received, and not only was his the most reasonable, his personality clicked with ours. Ryan and his team did exactly what we wanted and showed exceptional work ethic, team work and a sense of humor. What was thought to be a simple replacement turned out to be quite more work involved. There was an issue of dry rot caused by a leaky water pipe that was embedded in the original porch, and the relocation of water lines, just to name a couple of issues. Ryan and team took care of these unexpected surprises while honoring his initial quote and the job was done in a timely manner. It's apparent this crew enjoys what they do and take pride in their work, which is reflected in the finished product. We would not hesitate to contact S&R again, and highly recommend them. in 33* weather...i watched one of the guys get out of warm pickup to help a broke down vehicle get off road...the person was broke down at signal in Winston. if he would be so caring to help that person, I would know he would use same caring in my home. I was honored to watch his compassion. this was on Feb 6, 2019 See more See less

Ryan and his guys did a great job helping us with our home. We had projects stacked to the roof and hired Ryan to do the heavy lifting. New, more energy efficient windows and doors were installed as well as some new siding. We had a deck repaired as well. We asked alot of S&R and they delivered. Honest and hardworking folks. Mr. Wilsey is doing the cutout for our pretty sizable addition. He did a great job really quickly. In the process, we needed additional parking, which he did very quickly in the rain for a relatively low cost. And he’s a great guy, and easy to work with—not a dick at all. Ryan did a outstanding job fixing my shower floor.. took the old insert out fixed some things and redid the entire floor with tile. See more See less

Very honest and hard working. I was very impressed with the attention they gave to making sure things got done on time and done correctly. Ryan spent many hours making sure his estimate was correct which is something I really benefited from. I will be bringing him back for more construction. All of his workers were also trust worthy.
